Love and Companion
At Chongker, our mission is to create lifelike companions that foster genuine emotional connection.
Our journey began with handcrafted, realistic plush animals. Over time, we discovered that what people seek goes far beyond a visually authentic pet—it is the touch, the familiar warmth, and the cherished memories evoked by a gentle presence.
This insight gave birth to Percy: bringing restively soft, natural, and intuitive interactions into our signature realistic craftsmanship. Designed for anyone who cannot easily keep a real pet, Percy offers a low-burden way to feel tactile comfort, gentle responses, and the simple joy of caring and being cared for.
We believe that everyone deserves connection. Through humble design and thoughtful craftsmanship, we create quiet, reassuring moments that naturally fit into everyday life.
Our Journey
2019
Built to Remember
Chongker was born when our founder tried to help a grieving friend find a custom replica for her passed pet. Finding nothing that captured that true warmth, we realized how many pet parents longed for the same comfort. Chongker was created to keep those cherished memories alive through handcrafted art.
2020
From Custom to Everyday
We realized so many people deeply longed for pet companionship, yet couldn't have one due to allergies, space, or life circumstances. Building on our custom craftsmanship, we expanded to develop standard lifelike companions—bringing gentle, handcrafted comfort to wider homes without any burden.
2021
A Heartfelt Turning Point
A heartwarming message from a customer opened our eyes: our plush companions were providing deep emotional comfort for seniors, caregivers, and those facing quiet days. We knew we wanted to build something deeper—a companion that could feel alive and respond.
2022
The Birth of "Percy"
As we developed our first purring companion, we invited April—a U.S. veterinary nurse from a family dedicated to animal care and senior service—to give it a name.
She named it Percy, after a devoted German Shepherd who stayed quietly by her side through long, lonely days of illness recovery. The name was chosen to honor a way of unconditional presence.
2023
Quality & Reliability
We launched our first commercial Percy. Recognizing it didn't meet our strict long-term reliability standards, we made the tough decision to pause sales and completely redesign the product experience from the ground up.
2024
A Stronger Foundation
Percy 1.1 was introduced, featuring stable, intuitive touch interaction and personalized naming options. We also introduced Percy's iconic wake-up phrase, "Rise and shine"—not as a command for a machine, but as a warm morning greeting to a lifelong friend.

The Percy Family
Our vision matures into a unified companion ecosystem, expanding into Percy Essential, Percy Companion, and Percy Signature—ensuring everyone can find the exact level of warmth and presence they need.

Stray Animal Welfare
For every Chongker companion sold, we donate RMB 1 to vetted animal rescues in China to provide food, medical care, and shelter for stray cats. Our team also actively volunteers to build insulated cat houses and support local animal welfare initiatives.Launched August 21, 2026.
