My beloved black cats are no longer here with me so I needed to have a black cat in my life. This is the only all black one and I'm so glad he came my way. Yes he's scruffy. So am I. Looks a bit confused. Me too. Hair a total mess. Mine as well. You get the picture . . . well, you will! Anyway, I love him just the way he is and it's certainly not as complete as the real thing, it does fill a void that needed filling. I'm very comfortable with my new friend.
Top of head is barely above eyes and jaw protrudes way out
Tied a bandana around neck to hold it in. Tail is very short. Every time I try to load photo I get an error message and lose whole review.
I love black long haired cats. I own several Chongker cats and had high hopes for this one, but while the head, eyes and front paws are great the body is weirdly truncated as are the hind legs, tail and paws, giving the cat a weird shape. I have the grey British Shorthair cat which has a much better shape and generally feels more like a cat.
I ordered two of these lovely plush cats -- one as a gift for a daughter who loves cats and is athletic (and could benefit from thermo-therapy after strenuous exercise) and one to take up residence in our guest bedroom -- both to greet those arriving and to provide warmth for sore muscles or for cold winter days. Both cats very clearly were made by hand, with slight differences in their faces that give each a distinct personality. The soft expression in the eyes of both cats captures the sweet nature for which Maine Coons are known.

I love him. Hes got the craziest hair and a really long mane which had silver through it.. super cute ear tufts too. Brushing him is therapeutic.
