Helps so much with homesickness and depression/anxiety. It does helps me with my insomnia as well
I wish there's a purring function on the loop instead of hearing the meows. The meows is pretty annoying since a real cat doesnt meow too often when petting
The heartbeat function is amazing! That helps me sleep a lot.
I do wish theres a setting to mute the meows

It took awhile for Percy to win over my husband at his memory care, but cat charmed the entire staff immediately, and now my husband gets more staff attention because they come by to interact with Percy for their own stress relief.

I am enjoying the reaction of my grandchildren when he makes noise. He is very comforting to spend my days with.

I bought the Dark Calico Cat in memory of my 20-year-old twin Calicos who passed away last year. They have changed the appearance of the Dark Calico Cat several times, so I was pleasantly surprised that the one I received looked like the face of one of them and the body of the other. The feature I most like is the "Pure Purr & Breathe" Mode. With that selection on, it only meows once when you "wake it up" and then it purrs for 30 minutes and then goes back to sleep. Petting the back of its head "wakes it up" again. I don't like the regular mode that meows everywhere you touch it. Real cats don't meow while you are petting them unless it is causing them pain, or you are petting them while they are walking around and they want food. So, I leave it on "Purr" all the time. It also helps me to fall asleep better. One of my real Calicos used to lay next to me and purr. So, I set this one next to the bed and if I wake up, I just pet it and it starts purring again. The realistic breathing is also very nice. It synchronizes with the purring. I read another review that complained about a mechanical sound in the breathing. That only happens if you are applying pressure to the area that the breathing is functioning because it is interfering with the function. I don't like the heartbeat because it is too loud. One of my new cats really loves it, too. She sniffed it from nose to tail, head-butted it and curled up next to it. I added a photo of my real Calicos that passed away. The robot I received is in the separate picture. I hope they make more with the "Purr and Breathe Only" mode. The quality of the Chongker cats is far superior to the others. The fur is silkier, the faces so carefully hand sculpted, and the realistic silicone nose and toe beans. I also have the Grey Cat, which is a stuffed weighted style and the Black and White robot cat that has the variety of sounds. They are both beautiful, but only the Dark Calico has the comforting sustained purr that I like.

A friend bought this cat for my Christmas gift. I absolutely love it. I named her Oreo. She knows that I have been missing my real kitties since I had to give them away a month ago because I am going into a nursing home soon. This toy cat has brought me so much comfort in the past 24 hours since my friend gave it to me.

Very cute cat, looks completely like in the photos of the seller!?????? Very fluffy and highly pleasant to touch?? I thought it would vibrate a bit when it��s purring and that the purring would be longer and would be possible to choose purring/meowing, but it, as far as we understood for now, just randomly meowing or purring because of the touches (as described by the seller).
Everything works perfectly!????
Also the yawn sound.. surprised?? but very funny??

It's a really lovely plush! The black fur is much softer than i expected (i have a weighted ragdoll plush from Chongker that i love, but find the fur not to be the softest). There was a video on the listing when i bought this purporting that one of the paws had buttons so you could choose to turn off the meows and just leave it to respond with purrs, but that is not the case, the cat seems to meow or purr randomly when petted. The heartbeat goes on for as long as you hold the right spot and wasn't something i thought I'd care for initially but i really love it. Overall, i love Percy and i'm glad i took the plunge and purchased it. I had to say goodbye to my two cats in the last 4 years (the second has been gone since December) and i won't be able to adopt a new kitty for a while so I've found Percy does help when i need a cuddle!
