Got for my elderly upstairs neighbor and she loved it. Since this is the first period of her life without a pet to care it is the perfect replacement, she sends us photos of her and Percy all the time!

Absolutely worth it - purchased for dementia patients on hospice . Weighted - feels like a real cat - meows, purrs and a heartbeat .Easy set up - no batteries - charges with a port . Saving money so we can get a few more including the dog . Great quality and workmanship.

I bought the Dark Calico Cat in memory of my 20-year-old twin Calicos who passed away last year. They have changed the appearance of the Dark Calico Cat several times, so I was pleasantly surprised that the one I received looked like the face of one of them and the body of the other. The feature I most like is the "Pure Purr & Breathe" Mode. With that selection on, it only meows once when you "wake it up" and then it purrs for 30 minutes and then goes back to sleep. Petting the back of its head "wakes it up" again. I don't like the regular mode that meows everywhere you touch it. Real cats don't meow while you are petting them unless it is causing them pain, or you are petting them while they are walking around and they want food. So, I leave it on "Purr" all the time. It also helps me to fall asleep better. One of my real Calicos used to lay next to me and purr. So, I set this one next to the bed and if I wake up, I just pet it and it starts purring again. The realistic breathing is also very nice. It synchronizes with the purring. I read another review that complained about a mechanical sound in the breathing. That only happens if you are applying pressure to the area that the breathing is functioning because it is interfering with the function. I don't like the heartbeat because it is too loud. One of my new cats really loves it, too. She sniffed it from nose to tail, head-butted it and curled up next to it. I added a photo of my real Calicos that passed away. The robot I received is in the separate picture. I hope they make more with the "Purr and Breathe Only" mode. The quality of the Chongker cats is far superior to the others. The fur is silkier, the faces so carefully hand sculpted, and the realistic silicone nose and toe beans. I also have the Grey Cat, which is a stuffed weighted style and the Black and White robot cat that has the variety of sounds. They are both beautiful, but only the Dark Calico has the comforting sustained purr that I like.

I absolutely love this cat, she is very soft and beautiful. A tuxedo cat, black and white. She is so sweet, has soft silicone paw pads and the interaction with her is so cool and so impressive! My favorite thing about her is being able to customize the name she responds to; I changed her name from the default “Percy,” and she now responds to “Chloe.” I also love that when she lays in my lap, it almost feels the same as having a real cat rest in your lap. She’s the perfect little robotic plush companion!

My mother is 85 years old witha diagnosis of dementia, in a nursing home and has barely spoken in 6 months. We could get one word answers from her. Via a grant the nursing home was able to purchase several of these. She received one of these cats yesterday and today, she's having a whole conversation with it. This item is amazing. It's so lifelike. I highly recommend it.

My 8 yo granddaughter LOVES this cat. The paws are adorable and feel like real kitten paws!!! The purring is cute too. Seems like the charge lasts a really long time!

I just lost my precious Oreo yesterday. So I immediately ordered the black and white Tuxie. When I got my delivery today and took out the cat, I immediately started to cry because it resembled my Oreo so much. I haven't tried to set it up yet because I wanted to spend some time with my remaining 2 cats, Rascal and Kiki. Tomorrow morning I will set up the new cat and try to decide on a name and gender. The hair is not so soft, I'm hoping thatcafter i comb it out a bit that it will soften up a bit. My Oreo had the softest silkiest hair.????????. The color for this cat is spot on for a Tuxie.

I gave this kitty to my friend who has dementia. It is now her constant companion. She won't go anywhere without it. She even took it with her to the hospital when she had a fall. Her caregiver said it has been a blessing. Warm fuzzy. Highly recommended!

My cat died and my cat looked exactly like one of these. I immediately used it and I was so happy again. I really really really wish that she was still alive though her name was Coco ??

I got Percy for my Mother in-law who has dementia. She was so excited she cried. My Mother in-law has not put her down yet! She even sleeps with it on her chest. The meowing and purring is so realistic and the heartbeat is calming. I was so excited to find out your able to rename them as she wouldn’t be able to remember a new name. She refers to most things as boogie so Percy’s new name is Boogie. She lights up when she says Boogie and the kitty responds. I am so thankful I came across an add on FB for Chongker! Its the best money I’ve ever spent. I highly recommend anyone that has a loved one suffering with dementia that is an animal lover, purchase this for your loved one. It’s made such a difference, I can’t say thank you enough!!

My mom loved her doggy, she just lost her Babee for over 10 years and my mom is 91 - We are still figuring out how long the battery shelf life is for, but so far so good. Made my mother very happy

Oh my gosh. I love this kitty. It's a gift for my sister but I can't give it to her until tomorrow, Saturday. It's a duplicate of her real calico kitty she lost. I unpacked her to charge her battery up for Sis and I fell in love with her. She's so soft, her fur feels real. Her meow is sweet sounding and her purring is spot on too. She has just enough weight to her to feel very real. She has a precious face and very real looking eyes. She's the perfect size for my Sis's lap or to sleep beside her in bed. My sis is in her 70's and this kitty will bring her great joy. this is the perfect gift for my sister.

So well made! We bought this for my elderly mom who had to re home her sweet cat due to my mother's multiple hospital stays. She loves the look of her new companion, keeps her company while watching tv. Very realistic looking. When nurses open her door, they see the cat and shout to shut the door so the cat doesn't get out. So funny!

Bought this for my Mother in Law for Christmas. She is in memory care and loves cats but no longer can take care of one. We thought this would be good company for her. She loved it. Looks life like and has a heartbeat, purrs and meows. The cat was adorable and soft. The charge from the battery can last for a few months depending how much it is used. Great idea for someone in a nursing home!

This is a beautiful and very lifelike cate. She has soft fur and it feels very real. She answers to her name and if you leave your hand on her heart it continues to beat. Her purring and meowing sound very realistic, I even had my real cat fooled. I bought her for a friend of mine who is unable to move or speak and I hape that this little guy will bring her some comfort. I would definitely recommend the Chonker kitty ??

Yes, my elderly aunt loves her new friend. Very lifelike. She name her new friend Skunky, not because it smelled, but because it was the black and white cat. Lol
