This dog I really really love it I'm so so glad that I got it

Great gift for my granddaughter who is on the autism spectrum and really wanted a dog but the family circumstances did not allow!

I would have given it 5 stars but paid large full price and missed out on significant sales prices that soon followed.

There are a lot of aspects to this robo-dog. Overall, it is great, and I highly recommend it.

As a plush, it is extremely well made, looks quite realistic, and has nice soft fur. It has just the right heft to it, and is a good size for holding in your lap or next to you while sleeping. Easy 5 out of 5 stars.

The interactive part is well done, but could be a bit better. It could use one lower volume level; the "snoring" is nice while trying to fall asleep but is too loud, even at the lowest volume level. The interactive barks, yips, and growls do sould realistic, but seem to be chosen at random, rather than tied to specific user actions (petting, talking, hugging). Also, the noises sound a bit defensive rather than friendly. More yawns and happy panting needed, fewer yips and growls. The "heartbeat" feature is really neat. 4 out of 5 stars.

The charging system is easy to use and mostly convenient, though the included USB cable should have a right-angle connector at the "dog" end, so the dog can sit flat while charging. The battery seems to last a pretty long time. The charging/done indicator LEDs are easy to see and understand. The power/purr-snore switch is also easy to use and a good design. The flap-and-snap used to hide the USB port and controls works well. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Pre-sales customer support took a couple days to get back to me and was not entirely helpful with answering a simple question. The web store has a lot of duplication and overlap, and could be simplified a lot. Shipping from China of course took a while, but was problem-free. The last leg was handled by a company that I've had serious theft and damage problems with in the past, so that was concerning. 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Chongker has made an interactive Akita--Hachiko--in the past, and I would buy a "Percy" version of that same "deluxe" Akita plush in a heartbeat. My sister likely would too.

He is adorable and comfortable. He makes cute little puppy noises and his heart beats when you hold him. Super soft fur and his ears can move. Really well made - love Chonkger products!

I love this dog. He looks just like the photos, he's soft, he's easy to use, and the weight is perfect. The instructions were super clear and easy to understand, and I love that there's volume control. He's very realistic and a great cuddly companion. I 100% recommend

I bought for my husband who has memory loss and he loves it.
It is a great companion dog with no registration fees, food to purchase or vet costs. He is very realistic. The only thing I would suggest, is that his head move from side to side when responding.
